During the renovation of the Westin Hotel and Convention Center in Pittsburgh, surfaceLAB was tasked with creating a standout feature for the redesigned 6,500-square-foot lobby—a large illuminated walnut veneer wall behind the check-in pods.
Working closely with designers and contractors, surfaceLAB engineered the wall for efficient shipping and installation with minimal lobby downtime. They also integrated power modules for LED illumination and handled the final installation on-site in Pittsburgh.
